HTemp-1Wire Rack 19

Combined temperature (-10°C to +80°C) and humidity probe for IT environment (1-Wire bus). Fits into a 19" or 10" cabinet (1U size). 2 RJ12 connectors for daisy chaining the sensors, RJ12 cable included. Sensor can be placed to the front or to the back as a 1U device, or fixed to the wall. Designed for connection with Poseidon, Ares and HWg-STE.

Examples of sensor connections

Star topology – up to 60m + T-Box

  • Sensors can be connected in parallel using a T-Box or T-Box2 splitter.
  • Total wiring length should not exceed 60 meters from an active port.
  • Combined temperature+humidity sensor appears as 2 different sensors. Two different IDs.

 

Daisy chain – 60m maximum total length

 

  • Some sensors feature a RJ11 connector for daisy-chain (serial) connection.
  • 3m connection cable is usually included.
  • Total wiring length should not exceed 60 meters from an active port.

 

4 active ports - 4x 60m

 

  • After autodetection, sensors cannot be moved between individual active ports. When a sensor connection changes, autodetection needs to be re-done.
  • Total wiring length should not exceed 60 meters from an active port.
