Converter 2xPt100 1W-UNI

Double converter to connect two Pt-100 and Pt-1000 probes to 1-Wire UNI (RJ11). One or two external temperature probes can be monitored over LAN Poseidon2) and GSM (Ares)
Typical applications include measuring extreme temperatures in furnaces, coolers, engines, etc.

The converter connects one or two Pt100 or Pt1000 platinum temperature sensors to the 1-Wire UNI bus. Pt100 probes are available in numerous form factors designed for various uses.

The “Converter 2xPt100 1W-UNI” can be connected to Poseidon2 or Ares units. The values can be shared over LAN or GSM.

  • The converter automatically detects Pt100 and Pt1000 probes
  • Measured temperature range is -200 to +850 °C (-328 to 1560 °F)

Temperature measurement with Pt1000 over GSM

    • A Pt100 probe is connected to the "Converter 2xPt100 1W-UNI" using 3 wires.
    • A Pt1000 probe is connected to the "Converter 2xPt100 1W-UNI" using 2 wires.
    • The converter is connected to a Poseidon2 3266 remote monitoring LAN unit over the 1-Wire UNI (RJ11) bus.
    • "Converter 2xPt100 1W-UNI" counts as two sensors in the Poseidon2 3266 unit.
    • The converter is powered from the 1-Wire UNI bus (RJ11). Additional sensors can be daisy-chained to this sensor.
    • Poseidon2 3266 displays the Pt100 and Pt1000 temperatures in its web interface. Temperature units – [°C] / [°K] / [°F] – can be configured.
    • Poseidon2 3266 sends an e-mail or a text message (SMS) when a temperature is outside of a specified "SafeRange".
    • Poseidon2 3266 shares data over the LAN using SNMP, XML (http) and Modbus/TCP.
    • Poseidon2 3266 can be connected to the SensDesk.com online portal.
    • Sensor readings can be displayed using an Android or iOS (Apple) app for tablets or mobile phones.
    • A Pt1000 probe is connected to the "Converter 2xPt100 1W-UNI" using 2 wires.
    • "Converter 2xPt100 1W-UNI" is connected to an Ares 12 – GSM remote measurement unit.
    • The converter is powered from the 1-Wire UNI bus (RJ11). Additional sensors can be daisy-chained to this sensor.
    • An additional outdoor temperature and humidity sensor is connected to the Ares unit, too.
    • The internal Ares battery provides back-up power to both sensors.
    • Ares 12 is a GSM/GPRS unit for remote measurement and monitoring.
    • Ares 12 sends an e-mail or a text message (SMS) when a temperature is outside of a specified "SafeRange".
    • Temperature units – [°C] / [°K] / [°F] – can be configured in the Ares 12.
    • Ares 12 can be connected to the SensDesk.com online portal.
    • Sensor readings can be displayed using an Android or iOS (Apple) app for tablets or mobile phones.
